Douglas C. Moorhouse - Veterans History Project
Yesterday I had the priviledge to video the Biography interview with WWII veteran Douglas C. Moorhouse. Doug is a humble man who saw the tough battles in France in 1944. He told me his life story and I was mesmerized by the experience. Doug talked about how his life was saved by two men who pulled him to safety after he was shot several times by the Germans. Doug talked about the skills and lessons he learned from his experiences in the US Army Infantry. He talked about how the lessons learned helped him become a successful businessman in later years.

Is the video for Mr. Moorhouse completed, and if so, may I have a link to view it? Thanks so much!

Hello! I too would LOVE to see this video; I worked as executive assistant to Doug in the late 70's, early 80's at Woodward-Clyde in San Francisco. I vividly remember his stories of his WWII adventures, and much more that came after that! Please put me on your email list and let me know when the aditing is done. Mary Burns (maryfburns@att.net) Thanks!

How can one view the interview? I had the privilege of working with Doug in the 80s when I ran an association of which he was a member. At the time he was head of Woodward Clyde and I knew that he and his wife were preparing for retirement and spending lots of time at their vineyard. I also got to know his daughter-in-law and have often wondered about them. Such love ly people!
